Re-glaze Service
Here at Spec Head .co.uk we
offer you the option of having your own frames glazed with new lenses.
If you would like us to update your existing frames with new lenses
simply print off our order form, fill it in, and send it to us along
with your glasses and we’ll do the rest.
With the re-glaze service we can supply lenses made to your new prescription
or we can read the prescription details from your existing lenses to
produce a replacement pair. This is particularly useful if for example
you have scratched your existing lenses and would like replacements
to be made.
When filling in the order form just tick the Re-glaze box in step
1, then select which lens type you require. As well as offering you
Single Vision and Bifocal lenses we can also offer you Varifocal/Progressive
lenses. We will only supply Varifocal/Progressive lenses if you are
currently wearing them in the frames you would like us to re-glaze.
Please take care to use suitable packaging when posting your glasses
to safeguard against breakages. We are happy to supply you with suitable
packaging, please contact us if you would like us to do this.
Our standard charge the re-glaze service is £20 which includes
Single Vision or Clear lenses. Please see our order form for additional
charges for alternative lens options. All cheques and postal orders
